10 foreign men and one Japanese from a group are arrested for car theft

Ten men from a car theft group were arrested for stealing a car from a residential parking lot in Nisshin City, Aichi Prefecture. Including a Bangladeshi man and Mr. Miki Omori (大森美樹), a 50-year-old Japanese resident of Toyota City.

According to police, four people, including Omori, are suspected of stealing two passenger cars from a parking lot in Nisshin City, Aichi Prefecture, in January.

Police estimate that from January last year to April this year, about 48 cases of car theft were committed by this group, mainly in Nishi Mikawa region and Mie region, police investigate Mr. Omori who can be the central figure of the group.

Six foreigners from Bangladesh and Iran are suspected of storing stolen cars in a courtyard in Chiba province, according to police, they knew the vehicles were stolen.
