Winter Lighting

Japanese winter light festivals

Japan is famous for its winter lighting, cities, avenues and parks receive thousands of decorative lights, in winter, at Christmas and at the end of the year, which attract thousands of people and mainly couples, due to the romantic touch of the light shows and Colors.

Some events are held only during Christmas and New Years, but others remain active throughout the winter, receiving hundreds of people a day.

Illuminations are usually displayed between November and December, but some last longer, starting in October and running through Valentine’s Day or into spring. Many places at this time of year are stunning with the brilliant winter night illuminations.
