A Malian JICA trainee was arrested for biting two police officers in Yokohama

A man of Malian nationality in Africa was arrested for biting the arms and legs of two police officers and injuring them.

The man came to Japan for training at JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency).

Amadou Kone, 44, a JICA trainee, bit the arms and legs of two police officers at a JICA facility in Yokohama.

According to police, Kone was having billing issues at a nearby convenience store.

When the police chased him and called out to him, he became violent, so when he tried to arrest Kone, he assaulted and bit the officer.

Kone remains silent during the interrogation.
