Hamamatsu Base is located in Hamamatsu City, the central city of western Shizuoka Prefecture. Hamamatsu was the birthplace of the Air Defense Force, including the Air Defense Force’s first air fleet.
The base (Air Park) annually hosts the Hamamatsu Air Festival, a super festival with 126 stalls, 66 product stalls and 60 food stalls with delicious food and drinks.
An event for those who love aviation, with an aerial acrobatics show, exhibitions of planes, helicopters, tanks, turbines and much more.
