An Iranian was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department for smuggling 24 tons of coal with stimulants

Hahn Mohmaddy Buffman, 37, an Iranian national and president of a hookah sales company in Nagoya, is suspected of smuggling about 24 tonnes of coal containing stimulants by sea from Turkey to Tokyo last year.

The coal came in 2,400 cardboard boxes, which may be the largest amount of drug smuggling ever.

According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, Hahn Mohammadhi called himself “Rafael” and asked a Brazilian at a party in Nagoya to do a hookah charcoal deal.

And asked him to arrange a deposit.

The Brazilian was rewarded with a value of 200,000 yen, the Brazilian was also arrested. Hahn Mohammady denied the allegations.
