On the morning of the 24th, at a high school in Yatomi City, Aichi Prefecture, a 14-year-old third-grade boy was stabbed by his classmate with a kitchen knife that penetrated his liver and died.
Police arrested the alleged attacker as an attempted murder. The boy admitted to stabbing his schoolmate, Yuzuki Ito.
The classmate reportedly stabbed Ito in the stomach around 8am at Jushiyama Middle School, intending to kill him. The school is not aware of any inconvenience or bullying by the child.
Parents are frightened by the sudden incident at school.
