Brazilian Shada Vieira Graziella Luzia, 24, was arrested on suspicion of violating the Animal Welfare Act, leaving two dogs in her car in June this year for about 10 and a half hours in a parking lot in the city of Nagoya.

The police officer who responded to the complaint reported that the dog was exhausted.

The dogs are estimated to be 5 years old, both are doing well and have been taken to an animal welfare centre.

In response to questioning, the suspect confirmed that she left the dog in the car and left, but said she did not abandon it.
