Chita City │ 知多市
Chita (知多市) is a Japanese city located in Aichi Prefecture. With a population of 85.438 inhabitants, including about 2.158 foreign nationals and 520 Brazilians, 164 are Peru, 244 are China, 263 are Philippines, 287 are Vietnam, 12 are Americans and others (prefecture data).
Chita City was founded on April 1, 1955 by merging the former cities of Okada, Asahi and Yawata. Chita was elevated to city status on September 1, 1970.
