Evaristo Omido is a recognized Plastic Artist in Japan and Brazil, born in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul.
The plastic artist Evaristo’s history in the arts began very early, at the age of 7 he already liked to replicate superhero figures and realistic drawings.
His father was a tailor, which encouraged him to study fashion design. At the age of 18 he started working as a stylist in the main fine fabric stores in Campo Grande.
Then he began to dedicate himself to caricature sculptures and drawings, where he was inspired by the works of other famous artists.
He came to Japan at the age of 21 in 1993, after 2 years he returned to Brazil and met Maria again, who became his wife. At that time he stopped drawing, his wife encouraged him to go back to drawing.
Thanks to his wife, he became interested again and began to study and take several courses, and fell in love with painting on canvas, going through the studios of various artists in Brazil.
He specialized in Painting, Realistic Drawing and Caricature (drawing a real-life character), with his own studio at home, teaching face-to-face and online caricature courses.
He currently sells his works all over Japan and abroad, having sold works in several countries such as Poland, Iran, Germany, USA, China, among other places in the world.
Participates in events making live drawings (caricatures), is also hired to make drawings at parties.
