Dazzling red autumn flowers「momiji-gari or koyo-gari」considered by the Japanese a seasonal event as important as hanami in spring.
The word momiji-gar, in Japanese, means to appreciate the color of the variegated leaves (red and yellow) of the trees in autumn (reddish autumn leaves).
The word koyo-gari denotes the natural process of changing the color of green leaves to red in autumn.
