Hamanako Garden Park

Hamanako Garden Park is a place that everyone can enjoy throughout the four seasons.

A paradise of change, where you can relax and enjoy the seasonal scenery. There are more than 20 facilities where you can enjoy the view of nature along the shores of Lake Hamana, including the 50m observation tower that is considered a symbol of the park, the colorful Flower Museum and the Pleasure Boat Cruise on the canal that runs through the park.

From the Tower, you can see the beauty of Lake Hamana and the green forests that unfold before you when the elevator doors open are sure to take your breath away. The vivid scenery of the Garden Park stretching out below and the sunlight reflecting off the sparkling lake is a must-see.

There are water pumps and water jets available, and in the summer it is invaded by children. When you are tired of walking, try to cool off a bit while listening to their laughter.

A very comfortable cruise boat made in the USA travels along the waterway that connects the water park to the Flower Museum. Along the gently flowing waterway are beautiful flowers blooming, birds playing at the water’s edge and trees swaying in the breeze. Just relax and enjoy the view of nature.

In the summer, several events are held every year, as we can see in the photo, a Brazilian festival, ¨Feira da Oportunidade¨.

Sunflower Season

The sunflower season (Himawari) runs from late July to late August with around 50,000 sunflowers blooming in the garden every year, a sight not to be missed.

Cosmos Flower Season
