The Higashi Shogakko School is located inside the Chiryu danchi with a total of 277 students and has 3 interpreters (Brazilian and others) and Japanese language reinforcement classes (Kakitsubata) for new foreign students who do not yet understand Japanese. With this system, the Higashi Shogakko School has a total of approximately 70% of foreign students.
Kakitsubata: Adaptation class (3 months) for foreign children. This class teaches basic Japanese, hiragana, basic math, and school rules. After finishing Kakitsubata, students continue to receive support in the Japanese language they need for their studies, learning how to write Kanji, writing essays, and reinforcement in the subjects of the grade they are studying.
