Honko-ji Temple Hydrangea Festival

Hydrangea, the flower that announces the arrival of summer.

The Honko-ji Temple Hydrangea Festival, held every year from early to late June, features around 10,000 hydrangea bushes blooming in and around the temple, offering visitors an unforgettable sight. Honkoji Temple is also known as Mikawa Hydrangea Temple (三河のあじささ寺), located in Kota, Aichi.

During the Hortênsia Festival, there are usually several food and drink stalls and local products sold.
