Houki Falls is 12 meters high and features a beautiful pool of crystal-clear water at its base. It’s a secluded and mysterious waterfall located on the shores of Lake Asagiri, along National Route 519, in Shinshiro City, Aichi Prefecture.
Just before the Futagawa Bridge over the Oshima River, there’s a sign that says “Take a quick look at Houki Falls.” The waterfall is located far below, up and down a slightly steep slope. Due to its location, the waterfall itself is not very visible to the general public and is not very well known, which makes it a great place for adventure lovers.
There is a place to park on the shoulder of the road and the path to the waterfall is behind the shoulder.
