Ibumi Waterfall at Gofudou Sama

The Ibumi Waterfall (いぶみのごふどうさま), is a stepped waterfall, divided into upper and lower layers, the upper part descends smoothly, but the lower part falls harder, with a total drop of 7 meters over the river. which runs through Toyohashi City, Aichi.

On the Waterfall side there is a small shrine with the statue of Ibumi Gofudou Sama, and every year on March 28, a festival is held, where many local residents visit to worship and pray. As it is a slippery (dangerous) descent, a cement scale was built.

The waterfall is located in the middle of a farm, surrounded by persimmon fields, to reach the waterfall you will walk for about 3 minutes on a small trail (there is no parking on site).
