At a social event held in Toyota City on the 15th, a total of 36 people, including children and adults, who ate bento boxes provided by the restaurant “Shunsaidokoro Chihiro” developed symptoms of food poisoning, including diarrhea and abdominal pain, and three of them were hospitalized.
According to the Toyota City Health Center, Salmonella bacteria were detected in the patients’ stool. The public health center determined that the food poisoning was caused by the restaurant, and the establishment was closed starting on the 20th.
