2020/12/21

Police received a call from the taxi driver saying he was being assaulted by the passenger.

The taxi driver was assaulted (kicked in the arm) by a 33-year-old drunk Korean man (Jo Sung Jae) in Haraike-cho, Nakamura-ku (Nagoya) around 10pm on December 18.

In addition to the aggression, the Korean got out of the taxi without paying the fare, which was 1,570 yen.

The police arrested Jo as he was returning home and, upon interrogation, Jo denied kicking the taxi driver. But the car’s security camera recorded the entire assault.
