Children enrolled in the health insurance, aged up to entering primary school, are entitled to the Medical Expenses Allowance for Babies or Children (Nyuyoji Iryohi Josei), benefit in the care in Hospitals and clinics.
Simply present the Child Medical Assistance Card and the Health Insurance Card at the reception of hospitals or clinics.
Will only be charged 500 yen per consultation or in case of hospitalization you will be charged 500 yen per day.
