The Mitsumata Festival in the hilly fields of Shinshiro City starts in early spring, from mid-March to early April, when the mountains of Shinshiro receive many visitors.
Mitsumata is a deciduous tree yellowish at the tips of the branches with three branches, it came to Japan from China as a raw material for Japanese paper and is used to make Japanese banknotes.
