Nabana no Sato Illumination

Nabana no Sato is famous and the biggest flower park in Japan, plus it attracts many more visitors when its amazing Winter Lighting event takes place.

The famous Nabana no Sato is located next to the Nagashima Resort in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture.

Every year, from October (10月) to May (5月), the park is the scene of a fantastic festival of lights (winter lighting), where millions of LED lights, of different colors, are used, blending with the nature and landscaping of the park, a wonderful illuminated scenery of great beauty, vibrant light.

About 8.5 million LED lights illuminate the flower park, making it one of the biggest lighting events in Japan. Really, a place that cannot be left out of your itinerary, as thousands of visitors come to the park every year.

The river of lights with lighting (hikari no taiga), the lights dance across the water to the beat of the music, changing color to match the chapel.

And the mirror lake (kagami Ike) is impressive, it is a perfect reflected image.

The main highlights are the Lighting fields with a theme that changes every year, corridors, illuminated tunnels and Fuji Island.

The Fuji Island tour lasts about 7 minutes and reaches an altitude of 45 meters above the ground, a breathtaking view of all the winter lighting of Nabana no sato park.

A 200m long golden LED lights tunnel (hikari no taiga) and 100m lavender flower garden tunnel (rabendā) with green and purple lights, where the lights gradually change from green to bright purple, representing the different cherry blossom growth stages.

  • Admission: (from 6 years old): 2.500 yen (value for the lighting period).

Winter Lighting Hours:

  • Weekday from 9:00 to 21:00
  • On January 1st it is open to the public from 9:00 to 21:00
  • Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9:00 to 22:00

Other days:

  • December 25th and 28th from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm
  • From the 2nd to the 4th of January from 9:00 to 22:00
  • From March 1st to May 6th from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm
