Nagashima Resort Theme Park is located in Mie Prefecture, Kuwana City, it is a group consisting of 4 facilities.

An Amusement Park, sought after throughout the year. The Amusement Park offers more than 60 types of attractions, and is considered to be the largest park with number of attractions in Japan.

A Water Park, The Water Park has 10 types of pool, including the saltwater beach with artificial waves, children’s pools, hot water pool (onsen), 11 slides, one more incredible than the other (open only in summer).

A flower park called Nabana no Sato, is one of the biggest flower parks in Japan. The park is famous for its seasonal flowers throughout the year and also hosts a flower festival in spring, but the park perhaps attracts the most visitors in winter because of the wonderful winter lighting event.

Onsen – Nagashima Spa Yuami no Shima, an excellent hot spring complex offering a wide variety of baths. With 17 types of indoor and outdoor bathing areas for men and women.

AMUSEMENT PARK

Nagashima Park is considered the best amusement park for roller coasters in Japan and also with the most attractions in Japan, with more than 60 different types of attractions.

In this park you will ride the longest roller coaster in the world, the Steel Dragon 2000, which holds the Guinness record for being the longest roller coaster in the world, with 2.479 km in length. And it is the second fastest roller coaster in Japan and the sixth fastest in the world. The tour starts with a 95-meter high drop, followed by several climbs, nine drops and a spiral. Steel Dragon 2000 began construction in 2000 and was completed in 2002. It was considered the tallest, fastest and longest roller coaster in the world, but today it is considered only the longest, measuring 2.479 meters and with a speed of 153 km per hour.


Free Spinning Arashi 4D, the Acrobat roller coaster. It is an amazing and different 4-dimensional roller coaster that opened in March 2017. The seats freely rotate 360° back and forth, you will have the feeling of being floating as if you are flying in the sky.


Acrobat is a flying roller coaster that is 1.021 meters long, 43 meters high and has a speed of 90 km per hour. Featuring 4 inversions, a pretzal loop, an inline twist, a corkscrew and another inline twist it opened on July 18, 2015.


And the famous Hakugei roller coaster which was reopened on March 28, 2019, gained three new loop and more speed and height, now it has a height of 55 meters and reaches a speed of 107 km.


Looping Star, this is a steel roller coaster with a 360 degree loop, 25.4 meters high, 1942 meters long and reaches a speed of 77 km per hour.


Corkscrew, this attraction will thrill you with a screw course, two extreme loops and an irresistible 390-meter course.


Shoot The Chute, is a dynamic attraction with 30 meters high, where the boat makes a spectacular jet of water, leaving the crew drenched.


Aurora Ferris Wheel, is about 90 meters high and offers a spectacular view of the entire amusement park.


The Park has other roller coasters, one more incredible than the other, just going to the park to see them all.

Nagashima Hanabi – Fireworks Event

Nagashima Spa Land Amusement Park offers one of the most beautiful fireworks (Hanabi) shows in Japan. The most exciting fireworks you can only experience at the 30-minute Nagashima Park fireworks event.

The fireworks event takes place every year in August (the fireworks day is as per the calendar of the year).

WATER PARK

The Aquatic Park has 10 types of pool, including the saltwater beach with artificial waves, children’s pools, hot water pool (onsen), 11 slides, one more incredible than the other, offers shower services, changing rooms, places to rest , first aid service and information center.

Aquatic Park is open only in summer, from June to September.

Artificial beach with wave: The depth of this pool (artificial beach) is 1.6 m, with an area of 5.000 square meters and the waves are generated by three wave generators. You will play in the water with the waves and feel like you are on a beach.


Pools:


Boomerang Twist:  is a large 6-seater inflatable buoy, with a maximum inclination of 68 degrees, 25 meters high and 188 meters long, with sudden rises and falls. It is an ultra large and dynamic water slide slide.


Toboggans

Hot spring: The hot springs look like small hot water pools, with natural hot spring water “Nagashima Hot Spring”. Ideal for warming up a cold body after swimming!


Fountains and playground equipment for children: children will have fun with the fountains that emerge from the pool floor and in the athletic pool floating toys and change of change that swing on the surface for children to balance and have fun. And for the little ones, small fountains and showers like water curtains in an area of 190m², for parents to have fun with their children.


Children’s Area: An enclosed area with a constant ambient temperature of 30º with 12 attractions and 5 small slides and a 20 cm deep pool. Made exclusively for little ones to play with!


Services: showers, changing rooms, places to rest, first aid service and information center.


Regulations: People with visible tattoos are not allowed to enter. If you have a tattoo and wish to enter, you must hide the tattoo (with a t-shirt, long sleeves, or otherwise), do not show it otherwise you will be asked to leave the park. It is also not allowed to take any diving equipment, camping, food and drinks.

NABANA NO SATO – PARK OF FLOWERS

Flower Park (Nabana no Sato) offers beautiful landscapes throughout the year, but especially between mid-October and early May, when exuberant lights illuminate the area with winter lighting.

Nabana no Sato is a flower theme park opened in 1998 with the purpose of providing visitors with the beauty of seasonal flowers, enjoying each season of the year. The park is famous for its seasonal flowers throughout the year and also hosts a spring flower festival that runs from late March to late April. This flower festival is also reputed to be one of the biggest festivals of its kind in Japan.

From spring to summer, the park is home to a variety of flowers, hydrangeas, tulips, roses and daffodils. It is the largest flower garden in the country, with an area of about 43.000 m², in addition to the incredible flowers grown all year round. The park doesn’t stop there, it has other events throughout the year, Festival of Flowers, Festival of the Firefly, Winter Festival, Dahlia Festival and Cosmos.


Begônia Garden

The park has a large greenhouse called Begonia Garden (Jardim Begonia – Flower Garden in the Andes), the greenhouse measures approximately 9.000m², there are plants and flowers of different types. About 12 thousand begonias make this place very special. There are different environments inside the greenhouse, and with the wide variety of begonias that enchant in full bloom. Colors, aromas and beautiful arrangements enchant all visitors.

Lighting Event

But the flower park perhaps attracts the most visitors in winter, from October until the end of May, when the park hosts a winter lighting event. The park’s winter lighting is one of the biggest lighting events in Japan and as such it draws huge crowds from across the country.

The park is transformed into a fantastic Festival of Lights, where millions of LED lights of different colors are used, which blend with the nature and landscaping of the park, providing visitors with a wonderful illuminated scenario of great beauty.


Hikari no Tunnel: Golden Tunnel which is the largest glowing tunnel at 200 meters long.


Lavender Garden Tunnel: is a 100 meters tunnel of lavender flower garden, with green and purple lights where the lights gradually change color from green to bright purple, depicting the different stages of cherry blossom growth.


Hikari no Taiga: River of lights with lighting, a beautiful lake that turns into a river of lights where the lights dance across the water to the rhythm of the music, changing color to match the chapel.


Kagami Ike: It’s an impressive mirrored lake, where it shows a perfect mirror image of the trees.


Tsuintsuri: The famous twin trees illuminated.


Shiwase o yobu a-chi hikari no unkai: Bow of happiness.


Island Fuji: In the middle of the park you will find Island Fuji, which is a mobile observation platform that rises 45 meters above the ground. There, you will have a 360 degree panoramic view, where we can contemplate the entire park.


Valley Light Show: A valley where an amazing lighting show with a different theme takes place each year.

Hours of Operation

The price and time of entry to Nabana no Sato depend on the time of year, and with night lighting the opening hours are extended and the price of entry increases.

Nagashima Onsen  Yuami no Shima

Nagashima Spa Yuami no Shima, is an excellent thermal bath complex, which offers a wide variety of indoor and outdoor baths with artificial nature. The baths are divided into two large sections for each gender, with beautifully recreated views of the Kurobe Gorge (for men’s baths) and Oirase Stream (for women’s baths). Jacuzzis, saunas, massage services and restaurants are also available.

This is one of the largest outdoor natural onsen in Japan, featuring 17 types of indoor and outdoor bathing areas for men and women. Inside, in addition to restaurants, a day spa and body care services, there is also the gambanyoku hot stone spa. A great place to spend the whole day relaxing.

Oirase Gorge: an open-air bath full of natural beauty inspired by this magnificent mountain stream in the Tohoku region. A walking tour where you can appreciate the waterfall of the Oirase mountain stream, with a total length of about 390m with a water volume of about 80 tons per minute is a masterpiece. It is a unique feeling that you have never experienced before, you can enjoy bathing in the forest and walking tours surrounded by magnificent landscapes.

Kurobe Gorge: It is a magnificent open-air bath inspired by the Kurobe Gorge, the largest gorge in Japan. In order to recreate the canyon’s breathtaking beauty, we selected natural trees and giant rocks on the shores of mountains and canyons across Japan to reproduce the local nature itself. The highlight is the 535 tons of giant rocks arranged in “Oiwa no Yu”. You will enjoy nature and enjoy the many hot springs in front of the magnificent scenery.

Family Bath: A family bath in a relaxing place for family, elderly or people with physical disabilities, it also has private baths for small children.

Hot water constantly overflows from the edge of the tub, the feet are warm and the tub continues to the outside, making it easy to step outside. If you are accompanied by a caregiver, seniors also lack confidence in their fitness and are wheelchair-bound. We are working to make it easier for people with disabilities to enjoy hot springs.
