Nepalese arrested on suspicion of murder in Isesaki

Police have arrested a Nepali man on suspicion of murdering a 42-year-old Nepali woman in his apartment in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture.

Acharya Bishow Raj was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of stabbing Basnet Adhikari Laxmi Kumari in his apartment on Wednesday. Police say the woman’s body had stab wounds, and a man with a knife was seen leaving the scene of the crime.

Police arrested the suspect in Niigata Prefecture and he denies the charge.
