Mount Chausu is the highest peak in Nishio City, at 291 meters above sea level, and is a very popular mountain where the 203 Observatory was built, so that visitors can enjoy the city’s scenery.
There are several trails leading to the viewpoint and from there you can see the northern part of Nishio, Okazaki and Kota, as well as Mount Ena, Mount Ontake, Mount Fujiwara and the Suzuka mountains.
