Okazaki, Brazilian is stabbed by 17-year-old teenager

At around 22:05 on the 20th, at the apartment in Tsutsubari-cho of the city of Okazaki, a 41-year-old Brazilian, residing in the city of Chiryu, was stabbed with a knife and called 119.

When the police arrived, the Brazilian had an arm and shoulder injury. He was taken to the hospital and is not life-threatening.

Police arrested a 17-year-old who was at the scene for attempted murder, he is a resident of the Higashiura neighborhood of Okazaki City. He denied the intention to kill, said he just wanted to hurt him to the point of not being able to get up.

Police say the two are known.
