Okazaki City’s largest summer event, held throughout the city, is a summer festival that will allow participants and visitors to celebrate the story of Ieyasu.
The festival is held on the second Saturday and second Monday of August each year, with Saturday celebrating Hassaku Bom Odori at Aeon Mall Okazaki and Monday the festival taking place at Tenma Dori in front of Kagota Park.
And in September the Festival takes place again on the third Saturday and Sunday at Okazaki Castle Park, Okazaki Bom Odori Festival held with folk songs from Honjuku-cho, watsu-cho, Fujikawa-cho and other areas.
