Pakistani man arrested for causing an accident and fleeing the scene after colliding with a woman’s car

A 33-year-old Pakistani man living in Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture was arrested for ignoring a red light at an intersection that caused an accident, and shortly after the accident, he fled.

The person arrested was Mujahid Bilal, he was arrested for fleeing after hitting a woman’s car and injuring her.

Police said Mujahid ignored a red light at an intermittent intersection in Umenogo, Tobishima village in Ama city at around 8:30 a.m. on the 13th, colliding with the car of a 58-year-old woman, causing minor neck injuries.

In the investigation, Mujahid admitted to causing the accident.
