Police arrest 3 Vietnamese for robbery and assault

Three Vietnamese men were arrested for assaulting and robbing a Vietnamese colleague for gambling debts.

According to police, in December last year, the three men broke into the home of a 33-year-old Vietnamese citizen who lived in the city of Inuyama, in Aichi Prefecture. Slapping in the face and stealing money from the wallet, about 28.000 yen in cash.

The assaulted man owes a gambling debt of 200,000 yen, and the police believe the victim was assaulted because of the debt.

The 3 men are of Vietnamese nationality, the person arrested was Nguyen Van Hoai (グエン・ヴァン・ホアイ) 30 years old residing in Kakamigahara City, Gifu and Nguyen Ngoc Tuan (グエン・ゴック・トゥアン) Iwakura, Aichi.
