Ricardo Martins

Ricardo Martins: Brazilian, musician, composer and instrumentalist.

He began his career in Brazil and currently works in Japan. He began his studies with his father, also a musician, playing some instruments. At the age of 10 he entered the Conservatory of Fine Arts of São Caetano, improving on the guitar and electric guitar.

He was a student of Ulisses Rocha and Robson Miguel Mozart Mello and then went to Unesp, where he did harmony and improvisation, finishing at Unicamp in musical composition.

The watershed happened when he was invited to participate in a musical show at Cruzeiro Aska, in Asia and fell in love with it, coming to residency and working as a musician, until the present day.

In the meantime, he went on to improve and study at the Jazz Master, Berklee, in Boston, in the United States.

He founded the Instituto Musical Ricardo Martins, where he teaches music to Brazilians and foreigners. He does shows, performances and jingles for Sony Music.
