Sanaru Park sits on the elegant lakefront in Hamamatsu City in Shizuoka. It’s a great place for running, hiking, picnicking, walking in the woods, cycling, doing physical activities and taking photos.
You can enjoy colorful leaves in autumn and watch birds in winter and in spring the highlight is the cherry blossoms (sakura), there are also fireworks displays held in summer. There are wild birds and creatures that you can find at Lake Sanaru Park, you can observe around 100 types of wild birds throughout the year. A large number of insects, including around 30 species of dragonflies, butterflies, Japanese red frogs, crabs and rocky turtles.
