Sazanami Hiroba Park – Ena City

Sazanami Hiroba Park offers lakeside and forest walking trails, ideal for leisurely strolls, and the wooden deck provides stunning views of the Ena Gorge. Boat tours are also available through the gorge, and there is an Ena Gorge History Centre for those who wish to learn more about the area.

You can also enjoy beautiful scenery throughout the seasons. From late March to mid-April, you’ll be dazzled by the 400 cherry trees, which are illuminated from sunset until 10:00 PM, attracting many tourists.

In November, the park and valley are tinged with the red colors of autumn, attracting even more visitors.

From early December to early January, you can enjoy the fantastic winter illumination that the park offers, with approximately 30,000 LED lights in colors such as white, red, and blue.

In winter, the snow-covered valley offers a unique view, a spectacle not to be missed.

As mentioned above, you can also board a boat at the pier next to the park and enjoy a boat trip through the canyon, admiring the beautiful and diverse rocks with curious shapes found there.
