The Wedding Rock Ceremony (Oshimenawahari) was held to replace the giant shimenawa rope in Ise City, Mie Prefecture.

Every year before the New Year, the Shinto ritual is performed to replace the shimenawa from the Casadas rocks.

The two rocks are the symbol of marriage for the Shinto religion and are nicknamed “wedding stones”, it is a famous tourist spot visited by people from all over Japan.
