Himeji Castle is a popular tourist attraction both nationally and internationally and is located in the city of Himeji in Hyogo Prefecture.
Currently, admission to the castle is 1,000 yen for adults, but the mayor of the city of Himeji has declared that he is considering increasing the price four times for foreign tourists, which is causing controversy.
The price for Japanese will remain 1,100 yen but for foreigners it will be around 4,700 yen, what do you think of the mayor’s attitude towards foreigners…
