Two foreign university students arrested on suspicion of smuggling in Nagoya

Foreign students were arrested for smuggling cannabis through international mail

Both are international students at Nagoya University of Commerce, Russian national Vasiliev Danil (ヴァシリエフ ダニール) and American nationality Kamata Real de Souza Lucas (カマタレアルデソウザルーカス).

Customs officer found cannabis hidden in the mail’s socks.

From July to October last year, they violated the Cannabis Control Act by smuggling around 191 grams of cannabis from the Netherlands and other countries by international mail for sale.
