Vietnamese man arrested on suspicion of being leader of a smuggling ring

Police have arrested a man believed to be the leader of a group of Vietnamese drug traffickers, he was detained for receiving part of the profits from the sale of illegal drugs.

The person arrested was Juan Min Twen, 26, a Vietnamese citizen who lives in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture.

Police are investigating that Juan smuggled drugs from Vietnam and made them sell them in Japan, receiving at least 20 million yen.

He, who denied the accusations, is considered the central figure of the Vietnamese drug trafficking group, where 16 traffickers have been arrested so far.
