Yumori Valley Autumn Leaves

Nakatsugawa City’s Yumori Valley has more than 15,000 autumn trees (Momiji), and its beautiful nature attracts many tourists every year. The valley is located within Yumori Park, and local residents planted maple trees about 30 years ago.

The red arches of the Kawakami Momiji Bridge make for a picturesque mid-autumn photo opportunity. Yumori Valley is located at an altitude of 700 meters and besides the autumn leaves, you can camp, see five waterfalls, go hiking, play in the river, trout fishing and barbecue.
