Japan Guide 2023/07/10

A Canadian tourist scribbled and wrote something with his fingernails on the pillar of Toshodaiji Temple, a World Heritage Site in the city of Nara.

The 17-year-old was visiting the temple with his parents and he said he was bored, so I did this to alleviate the boredom.

He was detained for violating the Cultural Property Protection Act.
