Stray cats found dead floating in a pond in Nagoya’s Meito-ku Park

Police are investigating allegations of violations of the Animal Welfare and Protection Act.

A local resident found a dead stray cat floating in the lake in Nagoya’s Meito-ku Park. Police are investigating, suspect someone is feeding the stray cats mixed with poison, a lot of cat food was found near the lake.

On February 5th, 4 dead cats were found floating in the lake (in this area Itaka Ryokuchi). According to police, a total of 11 cats dead from unnatural causes have been found so far in March.
