Kota Cultural Park is famous for its weeping cherry trees. Every year, from late March to mid-April, 350 weeping cherry trees gracefully droop their branches like flower hats, and about 500 other cherry trees of approximately 20 varieties also bloom. All these cherry trees are displayed in a large area of 468.58 square meters, attracting many tourists.
In addition to the cherry blossoms that bloom during this period, various events are held on weekends, including folk dances, taiko drum performances, Shingin (traditional Japanese dance), a photography contest, food trucks, and stalls selling local specialties.
