The peach blossom, known as Momo no Hana, as well as cherry blossoms, are a symbol of the Japanese territory, due to their abundance and presence in the region and symbolize the arrival of good weather, indicating the end of winter and the beginning of spring.
Peach blossoms also symbolize happy marriage, prosperity and immortality and serve to honor young girls (Hina Matsuri), warding off any and all evil that may affect them. The beautiful peach blossoms can range from light pink to dark pink.
