The most anticipated party of the year, XXI Festa Junina de Hamamatsu of the Brazilian Catholic community of Hamamatsu (Celebration of 25 years of Grupo Esperança) was held on June 30th, the event was attended by Father Evaristo Higa and the Consul of Hamamatsu Ernesto Otto Rubarth. The event featured square dancing, capoeira and Brazilian, Peruvian and Japanese dance groups.
