The woman arrested on suspicion of violating the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Act is a 31-year-old Chinese national named Fu Nisai from Toda City, Saitama Prefecture.
About 1.600 items were seized by the police. The products have been made so elaborately that you cannot tell which is the original and which is the fake.
This brand is popular in “Melano CC” skin care. It contains vitamin C and is considered effective in preventing spots and freckles.
In response to the investigation, Fu denied the allegations, saying: I didn’t know it was fake.
