Two Chinese nationals were arrested for earning around 1.35 million yen by selling a fake model of a popular anime character pretending to be from the manufacturer.

The person arrested was 33-year-old King Naka and 28-year-old Chen Ya-Jing.

According to police, in February this year at a rented warehouse in Nagoya city, the two people asked a buyer to buy the models of popular anime characters, they made the models by hand.

The two told the police that they were not the ones who made the forgery.
