Mishima City │ 三島市

Mishima (三島市) is a city located in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture, it is an ancient city that developed around the important Shinto shrine called Mishima Shrine. Mount Fuji underwater water flows from various parts of the city, creating a beautiful stream on Mishima Island.


Mishima has a total area of 62.17 km² and was granted city status in April 1941. Mishima has a humid subtropical climate, with hot summers and cold winters. September is considered the wettest month. Temperatures are highest in August, reaching around 25.7°C, and the lowest in January at around 4.5°C.
