Kota Cultural Park is a large public park located in Kota-cho, Nukata district, Aichi prefecture, and was inaugurated on May 14, 1983. At the time, it was considered the first large-scale park in the city of Kota, and the total cost of its construction was 189,337,000 yen.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of facilities, including a community health and recreation center, a tea house, a children’s playground, and tennis courts, making it an ideal destination for relaxation and leisure.
Mothers can take their children to the playground. It is a small, cozy park where children can have fun.
The two tennis courts are available for use from April to November for 400 yen for two hours, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and for 1,600 yen from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Another secret to this park’s popularity is the panoramic view from the observation deck0. At 20 meters high, it’s possible not only to admire part of the city, but also to see the bullet train speeding past.
The park is also famous for its beautiful weeping cherry trees. Every year, from late March to mid-April, around 350 weeping cherry trees gracefully droop their branches, attracting many tourists who come to admire the beautiful scenery and take photographs.
