The Chiryu Park Iris Festival takes place from mid-May to early June, attracting many tourists from the region.
The park’s garden covers a total area of approximately 7,500 square meters and is divided into two separate parks by the Chiryu Sanctuary: the East Park (1,054 m²) and the West Park (6,435 m²). You can enjoy the view of the irises in either park.
During the festival, events such as the Chiryu Photography Contest and others are held, and the park is illuminated at night, from sunset until 9 PM.
