Fish Pay from Hananoki Park

In the city of Shinshiro in front of Niagara Falls there is a fishing spot called Hananoki Park Fishing Lake, it is an artificial lake created for fishing and on the side there are two pools full of trout, and the trout are stocked in the lake according to the volume of customers.

In addition to fishing, you can grill fish at the inn’s restaurant and eat it inside for 165 yen, or if you want to grill it and eat it elsewhere, you will only pay 108 yen.

The fee to catch fish is 2,000 yen and if you take it home raw, ice is provided free of charge.

Here at this fishing spot you will fish while admiring the Niagara Falls, which is considered one of the three most beautiful artificial waterfalls in Japan. The waterfall appeared in 1912, when the Nagashino Dam was built.

  • Fee for fishing 1 rod: 2,000 yen (up to 0.5 kg of trout), if exceeded, 275 yen will be charged for each 100g.
  • Fee for grilling fish and eating at the restaurant: 165 yen per 100g.
  • Fee for grilling fish in the restaurant and not eating in the restaurant: 108 yen per 100g.

*Note: If you take the raw fish home, ice will be provided free of charge.
