Hasso Waterfall is a tourist waterfall with an 18-meter drop and a tributary of the Gojo River, located in the Inuyama Hasso Natural Recreation Forest, Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture.
In ancient times, the site was a training ground for ascetic monks and was called “Yamabushi Waterfall” (Waterfall of the Mountain Priests).


The waterfall is about a 45-minute walk from the campground parking lot (1.2 km), along an easy paved forest trail.

You can also visit the Mount Hasso Heliport Observation Deck.
On the way, there’s a fork in the road where you turn right. Going straight ahead, you’ll reach the observation deck with a beautiful 360-degree view and a helipad used by the Fire Department (JAO8AR) for training.
So, if you hear helicopter noise, head to the helipad to watch the training.
