Hamamatsu City’s Okuhamanakohan Fireworks and Mikkabi Festival is held annually in August at Lake Inohanako.

The festival starts at 2:30 pm with various music and Taiko shows, and the spectacular fireworks display begins at 7:15 pm, with 30 hand-held fireworks, and around 2,500 fireworks are launched into the sky, illuminating and coloring the night, and to finish, several fans of fireworks that look like peacock wings beautifully illuminating the surface of the lake.

  • Cancellation: Can only be cancelled in case of storm, Typhoon (Taifu).
