The Tengudana Observatory is a viewpoint located in the city of Shitara, 1,240 meters above sea level, and the path to it is easily accessible.













At the top is an observation area, the “Tengudana Lookout,” a spectacular spot with panoramic views of the city of Tsugu, Mount Iwakoya, Mount Myojin, Mount Chausu to the northeast, and the Southern Alps.





Tengudana is a mountain located on the border between the city of Shitara and the city of Toyota, where tengu are said to have inhabited since ancient times. With an altitude of 1,240 meters, it is considered one of the eight famous mountains of Oku-Mikawa.
