Ulotto Aquarium

Ulotto (ウォット) aquarium displays live species of fish from Lake Hamana in Hamamatsu City.

In the aquarium section, children can learn about the fish species in Lake Hamana.

Each aquarium has easy-to-understand explanations, and the aquarium staff holds events on Sundays for children to learn about marine life (Japanese language).

Very easy to learn and you can even touch the live species, very, very exciting.

A diver dives into a large tank of 120 tons of water to feed the fish. Children who speak and understand Japanese well can ask the diver a question through a communicator that the diver will be wearing.

Children can touch and feed some species such as sharks, rays and others. You can also learn from the instructor’s explanations, who will talk about some of the species that live in Lake Hamana.
